As this year is coming to an end, the European institutions are continuing the negotiations on the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy. UEVP would like to highlight the importance of animal welfare in this policy for the coming years.
In the context of the Farm to Fork Strategy, the upcoming EU legislation is expected to ensure a better protection of animal welfare, including during animal transport.
UEVP will closely follow the work of the European institutions on this crucial topic.
