BroilerNet will hold its final webinar on 24 August, bringing together experts and stakeholders to review the project’s achievements. Panellists will share practical approaches to improving animal welfare, health and sustainability in European broiler production.
From research to best practices
Running from August 2022 to July 2026, BroilerNet has brought science and farming practice together to create innovative, ready-to-use best practices for broiler farms. The final webinar will also discuss policy recommendations and highlight the resources (factsheets, abstracts and videos) that will remain freely available through the Broiler Knowledge Hub.
Meet the panellists
The webinar panel will include Peter Stevenson, an animal-welfare expert and lawyer; Nadia Khaldoune, senior policy adviser at AVEC specialising in animal health, welfare and food safety; and Wiebke Jansen, FVE policy lead for veterinary public health and a member of the BroilerNet Advisory Board. BroilerNet is a Horizon Europe project.
