Six colleagues became honorary members at the general assembly of the Union of European Veterinary Practitioners, held in Limassol Cyprus on 13 November. Former UEVP presidents Andrew Robinson, Piotr Kwiecinski and Thierry Chambon, former UEVP board members Rens van Dobbenburgh and Kenelm Lewis and FVE Executive director Nancy De Briyne were honoured with a pin and a certificate.

‘Exceptional commitment and dedication'
Honorary membership was established on the occasion of UEVPs 55th birthday and recognises veterinarians for ‘exceptional commitment and tireless dedication to the welfare of the UEVP and the European veterinary profession.’ It was an acknowledgement of ‘outstanding contribution to strengthening the role of veterinary practitioners in Europe,’ added Volker Moser, UEVP President.
