The 2025 Great workplace award winners have been announced by the Mental wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusiveness (MWB DEI) working group. The working group, a joint initiative from FVE, Fecava and IVSA, discussed ongoing initiatives of the VetJoy project at their in-person meeting on 2 September. Topics included Great Veterinary Workplace Awards, the DEI Research grant, launch of the Vet-for-a-day outreach programme and the Team Coaching vouchers and Mentorship programme. 

2025 Great workplace award winners:

  • In the small/medium non-clinical workplace category : Vita-Vet (North Macedonia), for 'involving all staff in decision-making and demonstrating equity and inclusion through female leadership’.
  • In the large non-clinical workplace category : Hall Mark Veterinary and Compliance Services (United Kingdom) for 'prioritising employee development through dedicated training, mentoring, wellbeing check-ins and flexible deployment.'
  • In the small/medium clinical workplace category : Clinica Veterinaria Giaconella (Italy), for 'innovating clinic management with new technologies that allow flexibility, high standards and impact measurement.'
  • In the large clinical workplace category Tierarztpraxis am Stadtpark (Austria) for 'fostering a positive work environment based on psychological safety and committing to staff wellbeing via individual tutoring, consideration of DEI, and mistake reviews.'
