SNVEL announces the election of its new president, Dr. David Quint, during the meeting of its Board of Directors held on Thursday, March 27, 2025. He succeeds Dr. Laurent Perrin, who has held this position since late 2018.

With recognized experience in the veterinary field and a long-standing commitment to the SNVEL, David Quint intends to continue the SNVEL's missions with determination. Among his priorities are defending the interests of the profession, adapting to regulatory and technological changes, and strengthening dialogue with public institutions and sector stakeholders.

"Our environment has changed significantly in recent years, unfortunately fracturing the professional unity that we must, in my opinion, preserve because we are a small profession, under attack from all sides. One of my priorities will be to engage with all the sensibilities within our professional sector to unite around our common interest: a strong veterinary voice!"

Julien Gobert has been elected vice-president and treasurer, succeeding David Quint in this role. The rest of the executive board remains unchanged. It consists of Françoise Bussiéras as secretary-general and four other vice-presidents: Jérôme Frasson, Jean-Yves Gauchot, Julien Le Tual, and Véronique Luddeni.
